Some prettiness and early blooms

Oh how busy we have been! We've had lovely visits from family and friends, Amelia's party, new babies born and unfortunately, some bad news which has affected dear friends. The last couple of weeks have been quite a roller coaster seeing people whom I love feel so afraid and unsure of what to do next. They're all in my prayers.
This weekend hubby and I are taking some time off to visit one of my dearest friends for her birthday. She's throwing a roaring 20's party and I can't wait to dress up with her again, just like we did when we were little girls. I even splashed out today and bought myself some spesh lippy... with Haidee's help of course.
Below are  a couple of sweet headpieces for us to play with....

I have a few more to take with me. We're going to have such a great time!

On a separate note, look what I sprung in the garden today....

I must say, they're a little early this year but I'm so pleased to see them again. Yellow makes my heart sing!

Enjoy the weekend...... I know I will!

Love your little trinkets. One day I want to make my own fashion jewels...

Life is full of ups and downs. It's the uncertainty that's so difficult.
Your jewellery bits are lovely and perfect for a 20's party. Have fun xx

Oh wattle, how gorgeous! Reminds me of my childhood, as my school had wattle trees everywhere.
Lovely headbands and a roaring 20's party sounds fab. Hope you had a great time :o) xo
