Listening to....



Today I drove home from Pokolbin listening to Eva Cassidy. This song is my fave....It makes me think about my darling Grandparents Win and Jim. They were married for 64 years until my grandfather passed away in Autumn last year. She misses him so much.

Oh Alisa what a BEAUTIFUL haunting song....I cried as I sat here listening to it....I hear that women tend to outlive their men because we can absorb & carry the loss a great deal better than our men folk....If there's any truth to it, it certainly goes a way to explaining why we hear so often of men that are recently widowed remarrying quickly....

Congratulations on your Granparents lengthy marriage....I bet she has some fabulous memories....!
